What is a Covid-19 Recovery letter or recovery certificate or proof of recovery?
Covid-19 recovery certificate, Covid-19 recovery letter, Covid-19 proof of recovery is the same thing. The certificate is a document issued to you by GPs if you were Covid positive the last 6 months.
What is the EU’s Digital COVID-19 certificate?
The EU Digital COVID Certificate makes it easier for you to travel safely through the EU and it is a digital proof that a person has either been vaccinated against Covid-19, received a negative Covid test result or recovered from Covid-19. The EU’s Digital COVID-19 certificate is consisted of three different certificates:
- A certificate for being vaccinated against COVID-19,
- a certificate of a negative test result and
- a certificate of having recovered from COVID-19.
Why do I need a Covid-19 Recovery Letter or certificate?
You need the covid recovery certificate for travelling outside of the UK and other countries.

Can I use the same Recovery Certificate for multiple destinations?
Yes, you can use the same Covid-19 Recovery Certificate for travelling to different countries. As long as you have issued the Recovery Certificate in the valid period which the the countries you are travelling to have set, you don’t need multiple Recovery Certificates for each country.
Which countries accept a Covid-19 Certificate of Recovery?
As of January 2022, a number of countries are accepting the Covid-19 Recovery Certificate for entry. Some of these countries are UK, Italy, Spain, USA and Turkey. Eligibility Questions
How to report/register a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test result with the NHS?
If you took a lateral flow test home and the result is positive, you can report and register your result to the NHS by visiting the https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result website and follow the instructions. Things to keep in mind:
1. You cannot report a result after more than 24 hours. You can only report one result at a time.”
2. A rapid lateral flow test is a coronavirus test you do yourself. It shows you the result on a handheld device that comes with the test.
You cannot use this service to report results from a test kit you’ve paid for. If you paid for a test, check the test kit instructions to see if you should report your results to the private test provider.

Is the confirmation from the NHS of a positive lateral flow test suitable evidence?
Yes, the confirmation email or SMS from the NHS. However this will depend on your country of entry, so please check before travelling if they would accept a lateral flow test since each country has different entry requirements.
Can I get a Recovery Certificate a home cassette test as evidence of Covid-19?
No, we cannot accept a home lateral flow cassette test, even if it has a QR code as we cannot verify your identity. We can accept the home lateral flow tests if you have reported your positive result and you have the confirmation from the NHS of a positive lateral flow test. That then would be a suitable evidence to issue your Covid-19 Recovery Certificate.
Are Covid-19 antibody tests sufficient to get a Recovery Certificate?
No, we cannot accept the antibody tests as a marker to show proof of recovery from Covid-19.
Which countries accept a Covid-19 Recovery Certificate?
EU, USA, UAE, Thailand and many more accept now the Covid-19 Recovery Certificates. Please seek guidance from your intended destination authority for the latest updates and changes on the travel rules and restrictions.
How long do I have to wait to get a Recovery Certificate after I have tested positive?
We can issue a Recovery Certificate after the day 7 of your Positive Covid-19 test result. However, every country has different entry requirements. Some countries require a certificate issued 10 days after the positive test result. Please seek guidance from your intended destination authority for the latest updates and changes on the travel rules and restrictions.

What is the difference between: Covid-19 test certificate, Fit to fly, NHS proof of Recovery from Covid-19 and Covid-19 Recovery Certificate?
These terms imply that you had the virus at some point in the past and have developed protection and and have some level of immunity against covid-19 infection.
NHS proof of recovery is the evidence that you can download from the NHS app or have documented evidence in the form of email or SMS message to prove you have tested positive on a particular date. From the NHS app this will generate a QR code.
What is a covid recovery certificate? is a doctor signed/attested certificate proving you have tested positive and also that we have verified clinical information that you have submitted. The first test needs to be positive more than 7 days ago. It is suitable for travel and follows internationally recognised guidance. This certificate is signed by an NHS General practitioner. All our doctors are registered with the General Medical council.
What is a fit to fly certificate? A covid-19 fit to fly certificate implies that you have tested negative for covid-19 within a few days prior to flying and therefore are fit to fly and can enter your intended country of destination
I had Covid but did not had the Covid vaccines. Do I have immunity against the virus?
Yes, you do have immunity and protection against the virus. The degree of protection is difficult to answer.
How long ago do I need to have tested positive to be eligible for the Covid-19 Recovery Certificate?
Your Covid-19 positive test shouldn’t be more than 180 days old.
Why is there a QR code on the certificate?
The QR code is there to prove our company has issued your Covid-19 Recovery Certificate AND is to verify it is genuine. The QR code is not to be used as part of any upload to government/authority portal website or application.
How long is the Covid-19 Recovery Certificate valid for?
The Recovery Certificates are valid in most countries for up to 180 days. We advice you to check the entry requirements of your destination
Questions about vaccinated and not vaccinated travellers
Once infected from the virus your body develops immunity and develops antibodies, which in turn gives you protection for some time.
Unvaccinated and Vaccinated travellers with a COVID-19 recovery certificate can usually travel under the same conditions according to the regulations as of March 2022 which regulations might change. The EU has The European Union has launched the EU Digital COVID Certificate, which will act as a COVID pass for European citizens and residents.

Yes, you can. We provide Recovery letters for everyone. Children under the age of 18 need to be supervised.
Yes, and it does not necessarily mean you are infectious. It is widely understood that after 7 days of initial positive test you most likely have recovered and are no longer infectious. As some people can test positive for weeks and months. The covid recovery certificate will allow you to travel as it will take into account this information. However, please be aware that the regulations might change.
Follow local guidance on vaccination schedules. Wearing masks, regular washing of hands and using alcohol gel/wipe to disinfect will help reduce the transmission of Covid-19.
This will depend on the country of destination and if you have met the destination’s criteria to travel. Once you have followed the quarantine/isolation guidance you can receive your recovery of certificate and travel after 7 days of your positive test date and that you do not have symptoms of covid in the last 48 hours.
You will need to follow the country’s isolation guidance and travel restrictions. You can contact us and you will need to provide us with the evidence of covid test result (essential information must be in English) in order for us to issue you a covid recovery certificate.
Certain countries will accept unvaccinated travellers, as long as they can provide a registered positive Covid test result.

Healthify can issue certificates that acceptable for travelling to the United States (USA). We advise you to check US government entry requirements before purchasing your certificate.
The Healthify can issue covid recovery certificate if you have had covid in the last 30 days before your travel date. We recommend you check the entry requirements on www.health.gov.au.
EU countries which still have Covid-19 restrictions, accept the Covid-19 Recovery Certificate. Other countries in Europe outside of the EU zone which accept the UK’s Covid-19 Recovery Certificate are Albania, Azerbaijan and a few more as included in the list above.
Travellers who are unvaccinated against COVID‑19, The Healthify can issue a Covid Recovery Certificate with a QR code proving that they have recovered from COVID‑19 within one month before the date of travel.
The countries allowing travel with proof of Covid recovery certificate are enlisted above. Please note that the rules of entry requirements might change and we strongly suggest you read the WHO and governmental guidelines.
Proof of recovery is usually valid for 180 days from the day of the positive test. A few countries are introducing a different validation period.
If you want to travel after that, you will have to get one dose of the vaccine (for proof of vaccination) or be able to show a negative test result.
