Eligibility for a Covid-19 Recovery Certificate
You can get a certificate regardless of your vaccination status. You can hold both, a Certificate of Recovery and a vaccination certificate. In the case that you are fully or you are not fully vaccinated, you still can travel with the Covid-19 Recovery Certificate. The Covid-19 Recovery Certificate can be issued:
- If you recovered from Covid-19 in the last 6 months
- If you have a registered Antigen Lateral Flow or PCR positive Covid-19 test
- 7 or more days after you tested positive. Day of the test is day zero.
- If you are symptom free for 48 hours
- If the positive test and no more than 180 days old

How to report/register a COVID-19 rapid lateral flow test result with the NHS?
If you took a lateral flow test home and the result is positive, you can report and register your result to the NHS by visiting the https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result website and follow the instructions. Things to keep in mind:
1. You cannot report a result after more than 24 hours. You can only report one result at a time.”
2. A rapid lateral flow test is a coronavirus test you do yourself. It shows you the result on a handheld device that comes with the test.
You cannot use this service to report results from a test kit you’ve paid for. If you paid for a test, check the test kit instructions to see if you should report your results to the private test provider.

Is the confirmation from the NHS of a positive lateral flow test suitable evidence?
Yes, the confirmation email or SMS from the NHS. However this will depend on your country of entry, so please check before travelling if they would accept a lateral flow test since each country has different entry requirements.
Can I get a Recovery Certificate a home cassette test as evidence of Covid-19?
No, we cannot accept a home lateral flow cassette test, even if it has a QR code as we cannot verify your identity. We can accept the home lateral flow tests if you have reported your positive result and you have the confirmation from the NHS of a positive lateral flow test. That then would be a suitable evidence to issue your Covid-19 Recovery Certificate.
Are Covid-19 antibody tests sufficient to get a Recovery Certificate?
No, we cannot accept the antibody tests as a marker to show proof of recovery from Covid-19.

EU, USA, UAE, Thailand and many more accept now the Covid-19 Recovery Certificates. Please seek guidance from your intended destination authority for the latest updates and changes on the travel rules and restrictions.
How long do I have to wait to get a Recovery Certificate after I have tested positive?
We can issue a Recovery Certificate after the day 7 of your Positive Covid-19 test result. However, every country has different entry requirements. Some countries require a certificate issued 10 days after the positive test result. Please seek guidance from your intended destination authority for the latest updates and changes on the travel rules and restrictions.
What documents do I need to submit to get a Covid-19 recovery certificate?
- Personal information:Name, date of birth, gender, passport number, QR Code
- The document should include the date of your registered positive Covid-19 Test (within 6 months of the date you request the Covid recovery certificate)
